Uptown The main site in Uptown Laik is the City Hall. It's mainly an urban place, where the Police, Fire Department, and Hospital rest. It stretches along the edge of Laik City, fading into the country fields and highways. Moderators: Samiya, Krisley

Shopping Center A prominant collection of streets filled almost completely by stores. Restaurants, grocery marts, gift shops, button boutiques; if you're in need of something, you can probably find it here. It's roughly near the center of Laik City. Moderators: Samiya, Krisley

Library If you're in need of a quiet place to enjoy a real page turner, or a calm place to review or conduct research, Laik City's very own Public Library is the perfect place for you. Constantly updated with new works, it includes a small collection of computers for those all important projects. Or for goofing off. Your choice. Below Ground - Laik Genetics
Specified Environments Special areas have been designated for Hybrids or Transitives of an aquatic nature, as well as those that cannot live in normal holding cells. This is where they are kept, in either tanks of water or other methods suited to their requirements. Moderators: Samiya, Krisley
Sleeping Quarters (3 sub-boards) Whether taking a snooze or crying yourself to sleep, missing your family, this is the place you will be staying for the rest of your life. It is split into male and female sections, but these are loosely guarded to prevent nightly visits to other rooms. Moderators: Samiya, Krisley
Bathing Pool Every few days the tenants are given some time to rinse in the cool underground pond, scrubbing off dirt and other such things. Be careful to watch where you are going, though, as some have vanished in these depths... Moderators: Samiya, Krisley
The Gardens Fed by filtered water from Marijke Lake, lit and warmed by special lamps in the ceiling, The Gardens are a virtual underground oasis. It is the main food source for Laik Genetics, for there are also small stables for livestoc. Few subjects are permitted in here without supervision. Moderators: Samiya, Krisley
Kitchens One of most captives' favorite places, the kitchen is always stocked with food. Keep an eye on the cook, however, cause she tends to whack people over the head with her frying pan if she catches you scrounging outside of meal times. Moderators: Samiya, Krisley
Recreational Area (1 sub-board) In order to keep healthy, the scientists designed special areas for the tenants to exercise and spend a bit of time mingling with the others. There is also a side room with a swimming pool for water sports and activities. Moderators: Samiya, Krisley
The Labs This is your worst nightmare, the place they probe you and stab needles under your skin. Dread it and avoid it at all costs. Mysterious dark stains cover the floor and smear the walls. Moderators: Samiya, Krisley
Staff Lounge Staff members take time to relax and rest their feet here while on the clock, grabbing a quick cup of coffee or a soda. Also sometimes uses as a meeting room for the scientists. Moderators: Samiya, Krisley
Breeding Chamber Once you reach a certain age, the scientists might just pick you for their next research. They will lock you in this chamber with a member of the opposite gender, and in the same genetic Family or even Genus, and force the two of you to breed. It is a horrible place.
